Since 1919, Onda Buttons has become a classic example in the industry of button making with a continous innovation, craftmanship and expertise in different method of manufacturing.
We uphold being one of the master in manufacturing for metal products, providing services like 3D data modeling, 3D Engraving, Laser Engraving, Mold Fabrication, Spray Pianting Services and Electroplating Process.
We first started as small factory in Osaka, Japan. We had to stop and shutdown the factory during the war. After the war we’ve re-started the factory. However, it was our expectation that Tokyo would be the center of Everything in Japan, so the founder has moved to Tokyo and started the factory from scratch.
After shifting everything to Tokyo, Onda Button Manufacturing was officially found and started. We have expanded production by renewing all the machines and the systems. We continuously changed ourselves in terms of location (because of expansion of factory), creation, innovation, and so forth. This was the time we changed our button productions and designs from men’s oriented to ladies oriented.
We officially started in Manila, Philippines due to expansion and cost reduction.
We have built secondary factory in Cebu, Philippines to get closer to the materials like shells, woods, coconuts, and so on.
MetalProdigy Inc. was founded and established factories in Cebu, Philippines, due to expansion and rennovation of entire production system.
Metalprodigy specializes from the word itself “Metal” and “Prodigy” which means Master, “Master in Metal”.
For over 90 consecutive years, we have been investing new machines, equipments, tools for the latest creations and newest innovations., of course nearly 100 years of tradition for buttons still strongly remains within the companies.
